Stefan Isaksson har spelat tenorsax på de svenska jazzscenerna sen mitten av 70-talet. Under åren har han hörts med band som Contemporary Bebop Quartet, Svenska Radiojazzgruppen, Monica Borrfors kvintett och Per-Henrik Wallin Tentett för att nämna några. Han har släppt flera skivor med egenkomponerade spår och har en djup förankring i den bördiga myllan efter Dexter Gordon och John Coltrane men besitter ändå en stark, närvarande integritet och ett personligt tonspråk.

Filip Augustson, kontrabasist, utbildad på KMH. Första skivan Ich bin Filip Augustson 2004. En av landets mest efterfrågade och uppskattade basister. Spelat med Fredrik Norén band. Winner of the Readers Choice for the Golden Album of 2022 in Jazz/Orkesterjournalen for her release album Openness, Tessan Milveden is a Stockholm-based jazz singer, composer, teacher, who thru the years has performed with many renowned Swedish jazz musicians. Highly appreciated by the audience and her peers for her warm ample voice, her personal artistic interpretations and powerful communication with the audience, Tessan will perform select jazz ballads, blues, bossa, Porter, Monk, Hendrix, Bernstein, Holliday, Wolgers, Zetterlund.
About the musicians
Stefan Isaksson har played tenorsax on the Swedish jazzscene since mid-70s, During the years he has performed with bands like the Contemporary Bebop Quartet, Svenska Radiojazzgruppen, Monica Borrfors kvintett och Per-Henrik Wallin Tentett, to name only a few. He has released several albums with some of his own compositions and he is deeply rooted in the fertile legacy left by Dexter Gordon and John Coltrane, adding to it his own mark and personal tonal interpretation.
Göran Strandberg is a pianist, composer and arranger since the 70s. After attending the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, I studied at the Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He was part of the legendary bass player Red Mitchell´s group” Communication” for many years. In 1978 he was awarded the Jan Johansson Scholarship. Then followed collaborations and recordings with artists like Lee Konitz, Dexter Gordon, Art Farmer, Helen Merrill, Joe Newman, Thad Jones and Clark Terry. In 1990 Göran began playing with the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, and was also invited to work with The Scottish National Orchestra, Estonian Dreamband and Umo Big Band (Finland). During 2018 he was House composer in resident with the Norrbotten Big Band. Göran has so far released fourteen records in his own name.
Filip Augustson was born in 1973 near Jönköping. From 1989 until 1991 he attended the music high school in Jönköping and from there he moved to Stockholm where he continued his studies at the Royal College of Music until 1996. While there he began to work as a freelance bassist playing with many different groups including Fredrik Norén Band and Fredrik Ljungvist Quartet. Since then he has become one of the busiest bass players on the scene. He has not only toured in Scandinavia but also in the Baltic countries, Germany, Russia, USA, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. He has taken part in around fifteen recordings and at present is playing in such Swedish groups as Ståhls Blå, Karl-Martin Almqvist Quartet, Fredrik Nordström Quartet, Mattias Landaeus Quartet, Jerker Lindström RGJ Nouveau, Christian Jormin Trio, and Cecilia Wennerström Quartet.
